On ASRock boards it's typically labeled as something like "enable iGPU for extended desktop", or something.ģ. You're not going to be using it for gaming, it just needs to be enabled to use the hardware encoder on it. Boot into your BIOS and enable the integrated graphics on your CPU. Ok, so you'll have better performance (no FPS loss while recording) and much more manageable file sizes if you use OBS with the QuickSync hardware encoder in your CPU. Should I worry about them since I read that the black bars are there because my resolution for my videos are 1680x1050 (that is the highest resolution I can play at in WoW and other games. How I remove the black bars that are on the side of my videos? They go away when I do full screen though but on the YouTube video player non-full screen, there are black bars on the side. Should I use MP4 or MP4 AMD APP option and what is the difference between these and AVI in terms of quality? Should I use AVI for the video format if I use Action and then use a video compressing software to compress it? Virtualdub (someone suggested to me) is confusing and doesn't compress MP4 videos :/ What options should I use for the video compressing software (and which one) to make sure it abides with YouTube's encoding guidelines over here: Ĭan I abide to the YouTube's encoding guidelines without using a video compressing software and just use Action? Should I need a video compressing software if I use Mirillis Action!? It already has the option to upload the videos I record to YouTube directly but I don't know if I should use that directly or compress my files further? Should I record at Original settings or 720p in Action since that is what YouTube accepts? I obviously want the highest quality for my gaming videos but the settings to use for the recording software I don't know what they should be. So I posted a few days ago about Mirillis Action! and I am confused on what settings do I use for it.
